Condado Travel has served Puerto Rico’s business community since 1969. Founded by José Targa Hernández, the company was the first local travel agency to focus its efforts on the corporate market and address its specific needs.

In 1975 the company’s helm was passed on to José D. Targa, the founder’s son and current President. Ever since, Condado Travel has opened sixteen branches, offering the most complete and specialized travel services in Puerto Rico.

Currently, we serve our clients through one corporate office in Hato Rey (headquarters), one group and incentives division, Targa Meetings & Incentives, and sixteen retail offices located in Sam’s and Wal*Mart stores throughout the island.

To solidify our status as the number one travel management company in the island, we rely on a corporate client portfolio which includes many Fortune 500 companies, and the most prestigious organizations from areas such as pharmaceuticals, banking, advertising, investment, food distribution, wholesalers, technology, communications and more. All of them benefit from Condado Travel’s ability to stretch the company’s travel related budget to a maximum and identify areas of possible savings within the company.

In order to broaden our leisure travel services and expertise, Condado Travel developed its own website in 1999, www.condadotravel.com , which has become a leading online travel information center, with an array of options for both the leisure and corporate traveler.
